VERICO ZANDERS & Associates Mortgage Brokers Inc. is very proud to help Critter Care Wildlife Rescue Society by donating $100. for every mortgage funded under this program! Our passion and social commitment is bears. Many young orphaned bears are cared for by Critter Care Wildlife Society. They do a wonderful job. Their dedication and hard work to look after these young bears has touched our hearts. Each one of the cubs has a heart clenching story. We ask if you can help, please also donate to Critter Care. If you have extra paper towels, kleenex, javex bleach and flannel blankets, they would also welcome these donations. Critter Care has a wish list of supplies on their web site. We will be making trips out with donations, if you need something picked up or would like to drop off, please contact us.
Critter Care now has 17 cubs. Last year they had 16. All your help is greatly appreciated.

Max arrived on November 4, 2011 from Squamish
Simon arrived in November from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, his mom was hit by a car
Jeanette, Jeanie's cub from Whistler, Jeannie was shot by conservation officers, arrived in October
Sabbath arrived weighing only 34 pounds
Kaymona, Kira and Rose arrived in October, after their mom was shot in Coquitlam
Kody, Karsten and Keeton arrived August 8, 2011, their mom was shot in Anmore

Rascal is staying over, he arrived last season at about 7 pounds. That is smaller than a cat!
One of the main reasons bears are drawn in to residential areas is garbage. Please do your part. Store your garbage away from access of bears and do not put your garbage out before the allowed times for pickup. A fed bear is a dead bear. It only takes one bin out the draw a bear into the area. Ask your neighbours to please consider the bears. If you do not attract them, they will not come! Spread the word!
